That's right folks! Today Universal Orlando Resort announced an opening date for the Jimmy Neutron replaced Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem. That date is July 2nd! This comes just a few days after Universal announced the attraction was in "technical rehearsals" with limited open time to the public, rumor is lines for even these rehearsals where over an hour long for the limited time it was open.

Universal is really diving into the Despicable Me brand, this ride will also feature a heavily themed gift shop (which was previously both Nickelodeons Jimmy Neutron and Hanna-Barbara before that). Despicable Me is also a big feature in the new parade currently running daily at Universal Orlando Resort.
