The Shops of Diagon and Knockturn Alley!

Well, I gave a bit of a rundown on the shops in the last post, but here's a little more detail about what each of them will offer everyone that visits Diagon Alley or dares to venture into the darkness that is Knockurn Alley.

Unlike the Hogsmeade portion of Wizarding World at Universal, there will be more shops which are bigger and have a lot more selection of goods. Definitely something that's great to see as it's always been something that +Carrie H.C. and myself have wished they would've done in the original attraction within Islands of Adventure. While the ones in Hogsmeade are great, there's not enough and not nearly enough selection, I don't think that'll be a problem with what they're offering here!

I've spent the last little while going through everything that the new website has to offer and tried my best to sum it for everyone below. Here's everything that we could find!

There's a lot to cover here, so let's get   on with the details! First up?

Not only will there be plenty of places to shop and get all of your wizarding needs, but there's also a couple of new places to grab a snack or lunch while you're at it as well! I mean, what would Diagon Alley be without Fortescue's or the Leaky Caulrdon, right?

Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour

You'll be able to indulge your sweet tooth at the long heralded destination for all manner of frozen treats in a variety of unique and interesting flavors. Not much else is really given here, but I'm sure that the ice cream will be fantastic!

The Leaky Cauldron

Located right at the entrance, this popular gathering spot for all manner of witches and wizards is sure to set you right. Traditional British meals include, fish and chips, bangers and mash, cottage pie and of course Butterbeer and pumpkin juice as well!

Well, now that the food options have been laid out, let's get to the rest of the shopping before heading off to Hogwarts and Hogsmead!

Quality Quidditch Supplies

The destination to find everything you will need to play the most popular sport in the wizarding world!

The shop is slated to carry everything from Quidditch sweaters, brooms, Golden Snitches, Bludgers, Bludger Bats, Quiffles and will carry apparel and other ways to show your support from your favorite teams whether that be the Holyhead Harpies, Chundley Cannons, Ireland or even Bulgaria amongst others!

Weasley's Wizard Wheezes

Once inside this three story (yes, three stories!) shop, you'll find all kinds of novelty items, magical jokes, and toys to please and amaze even the most mischievous child in everyone. Some of the things that you'll be able to find within the crazy confines arel Skiving Snack Boxes, Decoy Detonators, Extendable Ears, Pygmy Puffs, Fanged Flyers and Boxing Telescopes along with many other interesting and unique items.

Madam Malkin's

Everything from Hogwarts school uniforms, ties, jumpers, cardigans, authentic wizard's robes and character costumes. Also, you'll be able to find jewelry and other fashion items inspired by Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slythern as well!

Ollivanders

This promises to be a much larger and more movie accurate storefront than the one that is located in the Hogsmeade section of the Wizarding World. In addition to the wands from the movies, there will be several that are original designs for guests to buy as well!

Wiseacre's Wizarding Equipment

For those looking to completely kit themselves out with the wizarding essentials, Wisacre's is one not to be missed! Here you'll find all kinds of wares and supplies including telescopes, binoculars, armillary spherers, compasses, magnifying glasses and hourglasses. Additionally there will be a unique selection of clothing and accessories from all the Hogwart's houses as well!

Scribbulus

Will featuring authentic writing implements and products such as feather quills, ink and inkwells, bookmarks, journals, parchment paper, seals, stationery sets and postcards. Not much else known about this one or where exactly it will be, but I'm sure that info will come soon enough.

Magical Menagerie

The place to get your familiars, but wisely Universal has gone without the live ones. This shop which features a collection of plush animals, such as owls and Hippogriffs will be within the confines as well. More details to come on this one too!

For those that might be of the sort interested in exploring the darker side of wizarding, don't fret as Knockturn Alley has all of your needs as well! Home to the quintessential outfitter, Borgin and Burkes, you'll likely find whatever dark and twisted goods your heart desires...

Borgin and Burkes

This infamous shop of all things dark and dangerous is ready to supply you with a wide variety of dark objects, such as Death Eater maskes, skulls and other sinister items. Only the best from this Dark Arts specialty shop!

Well, that's everything for now. Keep on the lookout for more updates about the all new Wizarding World of Harry Potter's Diagon Alley expansion from Universal Orlando. We'll bring you the latest news as it comes to us!
