The National Aquarium Announces First Ever "Pay What You Want Day"

Okay, this one is pretty cool and figure that for all of us up north, where no theme park is really open, could use a little distraction. +Carrie H.C. and I love aquariums and the fact that the National Aquarium in Baltimore is doing this is pretty damn cool.

On January 11th, 2015, they'll be having their first ever "Pay What You Want Day" to raise money for their conservation and educational efforts. That means you can drop as little or as much as you like to get to see what they have to offer.

What's even better? If you want to add in their 4D movie for the day, that'll only cost an additional $5 a person. Really not a bad deal at all. Even more so when you think of just how many options there are living up north in the cold month of January.  One thing to note, all the deals above are good only on site. That means no pre-buying tickets or anything like that, so you just have to show and shell out whatever you like.

For more information about the National Aquarium, head on over to their official website for directions, times and a ton more info about what they do!
